FOOX: The 4th Dimension - and - Fafi on the edge of thought
Mar 30, 2009 7:29:02 PM
Fafi is an artist. She is an exceptional illustrator, her work is STUNNING, her only flaw is that she is French - just kidding. (Read her manifesto) She recently posted a comment on her facebook page including this video below regarding the 4th Dimension. I enjoyed it - it kinda compliments the Hopi Indian video in the post prior - and think you may enjoy it as well.
I also thought that perhaps - in my humble opinion - this reference to a fourth dimension would be in line with references to "chi" or energy in Eastern philosophy and teachings. You may remember this video regarding conducting and transmitting chi through the body (here).

FOOX: To Live and Die in LA - a Hopi Prophecy
Mar 30, 2009 2:05:49 PM
As with all things, you gotta pick and choose what to believe in. For me, worlds of whimsical fairy tales ala "Where the Wild Things Are" is almost enough. Throw in a new age religion and voila I am satisfied.
Here below is a conversation filmed with a Hopi Indian Chief as he discusses evolution and time.
Makes me wanna grow some trees. :)

FOOX: What's up.

Tonight, the Pusher Show at Munky King opens. Tons of talented artists - some hardcore customizers in the mix and some really great paintings on these DIYs. So to celebrate this opening here's a big entertaining post.
DarkRoastedBlend has published an indepth report on Victorian Flea Circuses. Harnessing the might of the mite made for good entertainment back in the day.
This image from Fraser at FatBuddha (UK). I always stop by FatBuddha because of posts like this one. Lots of respeck to the gentleman that created this gorgeous motorcycle. An effort well worth the artistic result.
Over at Proteus, the artist of the day is a Joon Park. Very nice work. Almost James Jean-esque.
Grrr has the above listed for sale at $1500.00 (originally $2100.00). I have one of the original pandas that used to hang in Black Market in California. This boxed artwork is a great 3D version of the pandas on wood.
And if you can read between the lines then take the time to watch this. Remember the proviso - read between the lines for this one.
Back on Xantiar
And further evidence that being "mashed" or "totally mashed" will make you a better gameshow contestant.
